supermarket. But is it really fresh? Or has it been sitting on the shelf for a week or two? Now you can have that nutritious
salad freshly picked within 48 hours of delivery.
We grow a variety of fresh greens that are selected for their
color and texture, mixed together to give it a taste that we know you will truly enjoy. Choose from our mix of specialty lettuces
or try a unique and different taste with our mesclun mix (a selection of lettuce and specialty greens).

Ingredients for our salad mixes may include any or all of the following,
depending on availability at harvest time:
Red and Green Leaf Lettuce
Red and Green Romaine Lettuce
Arugula
(adds a bit of spice to the mix)
Red and Green Mustard greens
Tatsoi (a mild Asian green)
Mizuna (a mild flavored
mustard)
Endive
Mache/Corn Salad
Komatsuna (a mild Asian Green)
Spinach
Swiss Chard
Beet Greens

POULTRY &
EGGS
Happy chickens are healthier chickens. They produce tastier meat and they lay better eggs. All of our chickens
are treated with kindness. They are provided with an outdoor, fenced-in yard where they can roam freely to scratch, stretch
and flap their wings. They are also provided with shelter to protect them from the weather and nests for laying their eggs.
All of our chickens are fed a balanced diet of specially formulated feed, which does not contain any animal by-products,
hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. In addition to their feed, they are given special treats (surplus vegetables and weeds)
from our gardens.
Eggs are gathered several times each day and are immediately refrigerated to keep them as fresh
as possible. We raise several different breeds of chickens, which provide us with a variety of colorful eggs. Since shell
color is determined only by the origin and breed of chicken, all of the eggs will contain the same nutrients.
